Notes to All Instructors and Members

To all class instructors and its members:

Steering committee received some feedbacks from our members and volunteers. For the benefit of all participants in the regular activities organized by Fook Moon, we would like to implement some of the suggestions to address the concerns in the coming new season 2017-2018 classes. Thanks for your cooperation:

1)       All new members who have not learned Yang’s 24 forms and 89 forms must complete Yang 24 and 89 forms classes first prior to taking other classes. On-site registration representatives will direct new members to appropriate classes, and class instructors will confirm the new member’s satisfactory arrangement.
Reason: It is recognized that the basic Yang 24 and 89 Forms will be a good foundation and starting point to other types of wushu and sports.

2)       During Qigong warm up exercise, Yang 24 and Yang 89 practice, those who are not participating should stay outside the gym until the whole event is finished. Or these members can come in at their scheduled activity period.
Reason: To ensure no unnecessary disturbances and distractions to those who are taking the exercises.

3)       Instructors are allowed to use music in their teaching. However the volume of the music must be tuned down so as to have minimal disturbance to other groups using or not using music.
Reason: Although some instructors consider music disturbing, others felt the use of music in taiji brings relaxation and harmony.
